“God Is Good All The Time”
Do you truly want to reflect the nature of God? I remember the table blessing from childhood, “God is great, God is good, and we thank Him for our food.” However in the Old Testament we see a jealous God. We see a God who acts forcefully against sin. In the Bible goodness is often translated as generosity. Do you have a sharing nature? There seems to be little doubt that God has reached out to His creation, and given us what we need. Love, acceptance, forgiveness, all of these reflect God’s nature.

God is good! Jesus is even referred to as the “good shepherd.” The Bible tells us we can reflect the nature of God to others. Are you compassionate and sympathetic? Do you care about what happens to your fellow persons? God is good, and we can reflect His nature. We must pay attention to what is going on around us, and not just be concerned by

our own desires and needs. Come and be challenged. Come and see if God is good.

                                               In Christ,
