“Ready And Waiting”
Scripture tells us to expect the return of Jesus. When He returns the kingdom of heaven will reign. Those who are ready will enter into communion with God, and those who are not ready will be locked out. Scripture says we do not know the day or the hour for the return of Jesus. Are you ready and prepared? We must be ever vigilant, watching and waiting for God to act in the ultimate fashion. We discover, however, God is present to be in relationship to us now. We can receive the presence of Jesus into our daily lives now. Will we accept the power and presence of Jesus, or will we wait until it is too late? Come and receive a blessing. Come and hear the powerful invitation of scripture.

                                               In Christ,

August Odyssey
We are planning a day trip for our August Odyssey on Thursday, August 30. Watch the Messenger for more details.

I Didn’t Do It
But I know who did.... What a wonderful celebration of VBS we had a few weeks ago. The kids were great, the photos were outstanding and you all sang pretty well too! Several of you have told me how nice it was. All the thanks goes to Jenny Ottinger. She is the chair of the Children’s Ministry Team and put all of those photos and readings together. She and Rebecca Brown were the inspiration behind VBS this year and I think they deserve a big thank you for the many, many hours of planning, yard sales attended, prayers and laughter that came with this outreach. They are a blessing to our children and wonderful servants of Jesus Christ! I can’t wait to see what’s next.
