“To
Be Five Star”
Restaurants are often rated by stars to reflect quality and service.
Churches can be looked at and evaluated in similar circumstances. What
must we do to be a 5 star church? First we must feed on “The Bread of
Life” who is Jesus. Then we must be willing to feed the hungry. All of
us are spiritual beings who need God’s sustaining power and presence.
Then we must do what we can to help people feed themselves. We must
develop a sense of independence so others can be interdependent on us.
We all make a contribution in God’s kingdom.
A church needs to be a place to meet God. God’s presence, power and word
can sustain us to live a life of quality and meaning. Jesus is the
“bread” that can feed us and we must share Him with a hungry and diverse
world. Come and feed on the Word of God. Come and be a blessing. In
Christ,
In Christ,

Thanks For The Water
A super thanks for everyone that had a hand in
helping with Broadway’s Hospitality at the Fall Festival. We saw a lot
of returning friends that came by to say hello and have some water. Many
people were thrilled with the beauty of our sanctuary and windows.
Everyone was thankful for a warm greeting and a clean bathroom. Thanks
Broadway for making your home open and inviting. It truly is more than a
cup of water, it is a cup of God’s love.

and respect, building partnerships through which Christ’s love can grow.
In 2006, more than 300 people were served and over $35,000 worth of
financial assistance was provided. Broadway is a participant in this
program, so join us as we explore all the ways we can help.
