Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott are best selling authors, who have sold over one million copies of their books. They are a very solid Christian couple that has been featured on Christianity Today, ABC’s Good Morning America, Focus on the Family, The New York Times and they’ve even made their way on to Oprah.
 

What they have been finding is that so many parents out there are wondering, “Do I have what it takes to be a good parent?” A lot of times parents need help, but nobody likes to ask for help.

That’s why we’re presenting Les and Leslie Parrott's new video-driven study called Parenting: The Early Years. Now, this goes deeper than any technique of just getting kids to eat their broccoli and clean their room. It takes a Biblical approach into the traits parents want their children to have and what traits they want their children to see modeled in them.

To prepare this series, the authors took their cameras into the homes of 20 families and captured real-life parenting moments. Some of these are funny moments and some are just completely honest moments that every parent can relate to.

The study looks at what it’s like for married, single and blended families. It works well with expecting parents or even grandparents who are finding themselves raising their grandkids (because we all know children don’t come with instructions).

Broadway is pleased to present this 6 week course... and it's coming in beginning Thursday, October 16. The study will be hosted by our pastor, Amy Probst, herself the mother of 3 "little ones!" This promises to be an informative gathering and an opportunity to share parenting ideas as well as being able to fellowship with others. As we draw closer to the start of the studies, please check back here for specific information as to dates, times, etc.. Also, during the study, we intend to have " child care" available, as well as some refreshments. We hope to see you there and that you might bring along other child care givers and parents.
