NEW HIWASSEE PRESIDENT COMING TO BROADWAY
Exciting changes are taking place on the campus of Hiwassee College in Madisonville, TN. The new president of this Holston Conference college, Dr. Robin Tricoli, will share her vision for the school at our Wednesday Fellowship Supper on February 15. Some Hiwassee students will accompany her. This is our opportunity to learn more about the ministry Hiwassee offers young people seeking to advance their education.
Wednesday Fellowship Suppers... are not just a supper…the emphasis is on "FELLOWSHIP!" Starting in September and continuing through May, our fellowship suppers are held on the first and third Wednesday of the month. In addition to the meals, from time to time, we offer special featured programming, information for which can be found on the "Bulletin Board" located within this website, or in "The Messenger," The bi-monthly publication of Broadway United Methodist Church. Come join us for a meal, a light informative program and a chance for Fellowship.
Hospitality was an important part of Jesus' ministry. The wedding feast was the beginning of his ministry; he went on to feed 5,000 and then 4,000 people, and some of his parables address hospitality. We at Broadway seek to offer hospitality as a way of getting to know one another and building a sense of community. Come lend a hand planning events or join in as our guest!
Remember to make your reservation by 12:00 Noon Tuesday of the week prior to each scheduled Supper and planned program. Reservations can also be made at Sunday services when signing the Ritual of Fellowship Pads. Supper is served, usually at 6:00PM at a bargain of a price!
$7.00/Adults, $5.00/Children, not to exceed $18 per family.
